Director & Principal Counselling Practitioner
Crystal Halloran (BCouns)
Hi, my name is Crystal Halloran I am the founder of the Nurture & Grow Counselling service. I am a caring, empathetic & non-judgment - professional Counselling practitioner who puts the client at the forefront of every interaction by nurturing each person's journey, choices, development & autonomy in a safe & therapeutic environment.

I am highly qualified with a bachelor's degree in Counselling & hold various certified training: A diploma in Management - community services, Cert IV in Youth work, Cert IV training & assessment, Cert III in Children Services, Mental Health First Aid, & current First Aid & CPR. I have legal clearances: Working with Children Check (WWCC) & NDIS workers check (NDISWC) & National Police clearance check.

To complement my academic & professional training, I also have 16 years of experience across the social, community & welfare sectors including; Business owner/operator: Counselling Service, Behaviour Support Practitioner, Management -T/L for disability services, independent contractor - Support Worker: disability, NDIS - Local Area Coordinator, Case Management - homeless children & young people & young families.

Youth Worker & Youth Mentor
Veronica Pepe
Veronica is a compassionate Youth Worker and Youth Mentor who takes a person-centred, strengths-based approach to supporting young people and families. She is committed to fostering confidence, resilience and meaningful connection in a safe and respectful environment.

With over 9 years’ experience in the social and community services sector, Veronica has worked across youth work, case management and leadership roles, including Case Manager and Acting Team Leader. Her background includes roles as an NDIS Local Area Coordinator, Support Worker, Support Coordinator and Service Coordinator, giving her strong insight into NDIS systems, funding pathways and collaborative support planning.

Veronica builds genuine rapport through empathetic, non-judgemental engagement and works closely with participants, families and allied professionals to develop coordinated supports that promote wellbeing, emotional growth and life skills. She is experienced in supporting complex needs and remains calm, clear and supportive in challenging situations.
Veronica holds a Working With Children Check (WWCC), NDIS Worker Screening Check, and National Police Check.

Support Worker
Gil Williams
Gil is a dedicated and compassionate disability support worker and independent contractor (Williams Support Services) partnered with Nurture & Grow Counselling Service. He focuses on empowering male participants by providing customized support that fosters independence and life skills.
Utilising a person-centered and capacity-building approach, Gil helps participants tackle everyday challenges, develop problem-solving skills, and enhance critical thinking.
Specialising in social and community engagement, he promotes lifelong skill development and builds camaraderie among young men through peer mentorship. Gil is committed to ongoing professional development with Nurture & Grow Counselling Service Counselling Practitioner, ensuring he stays informed about the latest practices in disability support. ​
